About the event

The 2-day tube amp workshop is coming to CRAS! August 10-11.

The Aus-Tone Amp is a DIY hybrid of two classic 1960’s combo amps, with 3 Watts of hand-wired, “Class-A” Tube Tone.

We will assemble the pine cabinet from pre-cut wood, cover the speaker baffle with grillcloth, then hand-solder the capacitors, resistors, transformers, and sockets.

Visit www.AustinMics.com/cras for the PDF assembly sequence and short videos about how the tube circuit works.

This is a 2-Day, 16-hour Weekend Workshop, Sat & Sun Aug 10-11.

•August 10: Build the cabinet, speaker baffle, and start the electronics

•August 11: Finish, Verify, Test and Troubleshoot the circuit… and Play!

$499 CRAS Student/Faculty price.
